Restoration to the Home and Family
Our ultimate goal at Capstone Ministries is to reunite street
children with their families. (photo right: Norman reunited with
his dad, Alex.)
After the child is restored to the family, Capstone works to empower the family in the area of their skill and experience. Often a family will have only a few livestock. A hi-yield goat can provide the family with milk and a product to sell. A hybrid goat can produce as much as 8-10 liters of milk per day and give the family income. When the need of the family is an increase of income, small ideas like this creates a security for the family. The restoration of family is a challenging and difficult work. We covet your prayers and encouragement.
Capstone Ministries is working with over 100 children in various stages of rehabilitation and counseling. Sometimes a child will not change despite our best attempts to encourage him to change. Sometimes a child will run back to the street after being reconciled with his home. Seventy-five percent of those reconciled do remain at home with their families.
